A safe, secure environment is obviously of great importance to any parent leaving their child in a Nursery setting.
Which is why our Nurseries have Secure Access Systems and some also include CCTV and Key Fob Access too*!
The Secure Access System only allows parents who have registered with the Nursery to gain access via a key fob. Parents will only be able to enter the reception area of the Nursery where they will be greeted by a member of staff, who will take them to their child's Base Room (Nurseries which only have the main Secure Access door, will be able to access Base Rooms from there).
In those Nurseries which have CCTV*, cameras are situated in each of the Base Rooms and play areas and a monitor is located in the reception area, so parents can watch their child settle in for a fun filled day in Nursery.
Our Admissions policy is meticulous and at the time of booking your child's place you will be asked to complete an 'Authorised Persons to Collect your child' form and only these people will be allowed to collect your child. Your child will be signed in on the Base Room register each time they attend Nursery and signed out when they are collected.
Any visitors or contractors must produce a form of ID before they gain access to the Nursery and they are required to sign a visitors/contractors book; which is monitored regularly to ensure that relevant procedures are being followed.
Health and Safety also plays an important part in Nursery life. We ensure that our Nursery provides a safe environment for all children, parents and staff. We have our own team of Health and Safety experts who work closely with the Nurseries to ensure that all safety procedures and practices are adhered to throughout.
Our Nursery staff receive regular training and updates on Health and Safety issues and each Nursery has a Health and Safety Co-ordinator who is responsible for all issues within their Nursery.
